You may have noticed a rather sizable disparity between the variety of bots available for use (as well as even more that I haven't shored up the stars to purchase!) and the ones that actually do get used online. I'm lookin' at you, Cockroach and Bat! Your performance online doesn't really vary that much based on the performances of your adversaries, though. It's mostly based on familiarity with the course and comfort with the bot's particular control quirks, so if there's any question as to why I do so badly, it's because I haven't put in nearly enough behind the scenes training. It gets particularly nasty if you try to play by ear on the more advanced courses. Still, even playing like I do, you can see that it's not unusual to turn a net profit on your wagers even so, and there's no more lucrative pursuit for quick stars than to bet big online...it's a real grind offline, so I'm glad to see that there's at least still people racing. --- Race #1 -- Gold Cup Fiji F.ALL.U (Cockroach) Y.Mutou (Scorpion) REN (Bat) RedDawn (Cockroach) SOS (Centipede) The Scorpion is a bot that looks attractive on paper, but doesn't really manage to fare well in my not-so-capable hands.
